For Coalpit Heath, the ambition is to deliver a low carbon, biodiverse neighbourhood in a timely manner to address both the climate, ecological and housing crises.

The success of Edward Ware Homes over many years has been based on an equitable relationship with landowners, a concern for enduring value in the houses built and striving for the best available architectural design. This last ambition has been driven by the example of his late father who was a much valued Architect in Bristol.
Further to these aims Edward has embraced the need for place-making in housing layout design and his success in this respect has been noted by South Gloucestershire in consenting a project for 393 homes at Lyde Green.
With the ever increasing awareness in regard to the current global climate crisis and the degrading of the natural environment Edward is now determined to ensure that at the heart of all future Edward Ware Homes developments the needs of the environment are front and centre in their designs.

Natural materials of sustainable value will be adopted where possible, only employing staff and contractors of the highest calibre. Off-site modular build solutions will also be explored where appropriate as a more sustainable mode of construction.
